  • Compliance concerns
  • Anterior open bite cases
  • Anterior spacing cases
  • Deep bite cases
  • Weak periodontium
  • Moderate to severe crowding cases

Retainer use guidelines:

  • Essentially full-time wear for the first 3-4 months. Except while eating.
  • Continue wearing overnight indefinetely.
  • Doctor checks retention 1,3, and 6 intervals post active treatments.
