Tipping 11 (movement staging): *First procline +rotate mesial-out *Second: 10-degree tip mesial of the crown + intrusion+ rotate distal-in Whenever there is rotation + tip, do not start correcting the tipping |
Root tip attachment: vertical beveled (bevel on a different side than root tipping is needed).
Diastema closure
On space closure between teeth with divergent roots, or in the need for uprighting an inclined tooth, the power arms can be an excellent alternative. For example, power arms made of stainless steel 0.020-in wires can be bonded on the lingual surface of the central incisors and a cut was made on the aligners. These power arms are divergent and are activated by a chain elastic pulling them together. It corrects the excessive inclination of the incisors and allows a more controlled space closure.
